Ethan Geehr is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Radio, Television & Film at Rowan University's Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts. He holds a B.S. from Muhlenberg College and an M.F.A. in Medical and Biological Illustration from the University of Michigan. As a Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI), he specializes in creating medical-legal exhibits, educational materials, and multimedia content for litigation, textbooks, and journals.
Mr. Geehr founded Medics Medical Graphics in 1991, providing high-quality trial exhibits and illustrations for over 25 years. He has served as a mentor to students and professionals in the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) and held leadership roles, including Chair of the AMI Board of Governors. His work spans surgical atlases, pharmaceutical brochures, and interactive animations, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration between medicine, law, and media.
Active in professional development, he lectures on topics like copyright law and medical illustration ethics. His contributions to the field have earned him Fellow status in the AMI and recognition for advancing medical visualization standards.
