Ethan Anderson

Ethan Anderson is a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Iowa's College of Pharmacy. He holds the Division Head position for Drug Discovery & Experimental Therapeutics. His research focuses on mitochondrial oxidative metabolism, cardiometabolic diseases, and the development of small molecule therapies targeting mitochondrial dysfunction. Dr. Anderson obtained his BS in Genetics from the University of Minnesota, PhD in Molecular Physiology from Yale University, and completed postdoctoral training in Molecular Cardiology at East Carolina University.
