Esther Park is a Visiting Associate Professor of Music at the Schwob School of Music, Columbus State University. She specializes in piano performance and brings extensive experience from her previous position as associate professor of piano and director of the Pre-College program at East Tennessee State University since 2015.
Dr. Park received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Juilliard School studying with Yoheved Kaplinsky, furthered her studies at the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater in Hannover under Bernd Goetzke, and completed her graduate studies at Yale School of Music where she earned her Artist Diploma, Master of Musical Arts Degree, and Doctor of Musical Arts Degree under Boris Berman.
As a renowned concert pianist, Dr. Park has performed as a soloist with major orchestras including the Houston Symphony, Corpus Christi Symphony, Filharmonia Pomorska in Poland, and Shanghai Philharmonic in China. Her research interests focus on piano performance techniques, interpretation of Romantic-era composers, and chamber music collaboration. She has appeared at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, Lincoln Center, Salle Cortot in Paris, and completed a five-city recital tour in Korea.

Dr. Park is deeply committed to music education, having directed pre-college programs and mentored emerging musicians. As a founding member of Duo Amadeae with her sister Sun-A Park, she actively contributes to chamber music performance and education. Her office is located in RiverCenter 2612 at Columbus State University where she continues to develop her performance career while shaping the next generation of musicians.
