Dr. Estelle Strazdins is a Senior Lecturer in Classics at the Australian National University's School of Literature, Languages & Linguistics. Her academic journey includes a DPhil from Oxford (2008-2012) and postdoctoral fellowships across institutions like the British School at Athens and the University of Cambridge. She specializes in Roman Greek cultural history, focusing on how imperial elites navigated temporal frameworks through literature and material culture.

Current roles include vice presidency of the Australasian Women in Ancient World Studies and involvement in the ARC-funded Images of Power in the Roman Empire project. Her award-winning monograph Fashioning the Future in Roman Greece (2023) redefines Second Sophistic temporalities through interdisciplinary analysis.
