Ernst Patrick Graamans is an Assistant Professor of Culture and Leadership at the Department of Management and Organization, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). He holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the VU School of Business and Economics. His research focuses on organizational culture, leadership dynamics, counterculture, and healthcare management. Graamans has authored award-winning publications on change management, cultural psychology, and corporate governance. He advises organizations on strategic leadership and board-level change initiatives, leveraging insights from his prior consultancy work (2012–2020).
Education: PhD (2020) and Master's (I/O Psychology, 20XX) from Open Universiteit. Key contributions include exploring love-based leadership, cultural misuse in organizations, and the blurry line between corporate and cult dynamics. Awards include the 2023 Emerald Literati Award and 2013 ROA Professional Publication Award. He teaches courses on Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Top Management Skills.
