Erkin Sagiev is a Lecturer (Teaching) in Economics at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), University College London. His research focuses on game theory, including algorithmic game theory and communication games on networks. Before academia, he worked as a tax accountant, consultant, and advisor to public institutions, NGOs, and the World Bank. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex (2021) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Research Interests: Erkin's work bridges theoretical game theory with practical tax policy challenges. His current projects explore how information flows in networks influence strategic decision-making and tax evasion mechanisms. Recent studies address farsighted communication dynamics in networks and the role of Bayesian persuasion in mitigating profit shifting by multinational enterprises.
Teaching & Awards: A seasoned educator, Erkin teaches economics, finance, and mathematics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His FHEA fellowship reflects his commitment to pedagogical excellence.
