Erin Redman is an Associate Professor and Director of the Educational Sustainability program in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She holds a Ph.D. in Sustainability from Arizona State University, an M.S. in Sustainable Systems from Slippery Rock University, and a B.S. in Biology from Northland College. Her professional background includes roles as a Sustainability Scientist at Arizona State University, faculty positions at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and research leadership at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany.
Her research focuses on sustainability education, professional development for teachers, and sustainable behavior change. Key areas include integrating sustainability into K-12 curricula, designing teacher training programs, and studying waste management systems in cross-cultural contexts. She employs methodologies like place-based learning, inquiry-based science, and behavioral interventions to drive environmental transformation.
