Erin Moore is Dr. Carl F. Asseff Assistant Professor in Anthropology and the History of Medicine at Ohio State University. As a sociocultural and medical anthropologist, she researches global health, disease, and development in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Current project investigates Uganda's HIV epidemic through gendered political-economic frameworks. Previous work examined development interventions targeting adolescent girls, East African miniskirt bans, and love/sexuality economies.
