Erin Islo is an Assistant Professor of Law at Northeastern University School of Law, joining in 2023. She holds a JD from Yale Law School, a BA from Haverford College, and an MA from KU Leuven. Her research combines philosophical, legal, and empirical methods to examine consumer and worker rights, family law regulation, and algorithmic bias.

Professor Islo's expertise spans civil procedure, law and technology, and economic justice. Her current dissertation at Princeton University explores metaphysical foundations of early modern European ethical thought. She clerked for Judge Barrington D. Parker, Jr. (Second Circuit) and received grants for transnational family law research.
