Dr. Erin Hofmeyer serves as Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education in the Physical Therapy Program at Mount St. Joseph University, Cincinnati, Ohio. She holds certifications as an APTA Level I & II Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program Trainer and is a Professional Member of the National Academies of Practice (NAP).

Her research and teaching expertise centers on Geriatrics, Health Policy and Regulation, and Physical Therapy Administration, with significant focus on healthcare advocacy and leadership development. As OPTA State Affairs Chair (2024-present), she actively shapes Ohio physical therapy legislation while serving as an elected APTA House of Delegates Delegate (2025-2027 term), demonstrating her dual commitment to clinical education and policy reform.
Professional leadership encompasses former service on the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board (2015-2023) as Chair, Secretary, and PT Compact Commission Representative, alongside completion of the OPTA L.I.F.E Series Leadership Academy. She currently advances her scholarly work through doctoral studies in Leadership Studies (Ed.D) at Xavier University.
