Jamie Bayliss

Dr. Jamie Bayliss, PT, DHSc is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Education at Mount St. Joseph University. She earned a Bachelor of Science (2003), Master of Physical Therapy (2005), and Doctor of Health Science (2017) from institutions including the College of Mount St. Joseph and the University of Indianapolis. Her career spans 15 years in clinical education, complemented by leadership roles in professional organizations.

Her research focuses on optimizing clinical education processes, developing grassroots initiatives for best practices, and analyzing student performance trends to refine program policies. Teaching responsibilities include professional issues, research methods, and temporomandibular joint biomechanics within the Physical Therapy program.

Dr. Bayliss has served as a credentialed Clinical Instructor (CI) and Site Clinical Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE) prior to her current role. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Ohio Physical Therapy Association (OPTA), and National Consortium of Clinical Educators (NCCE), having held leadership positions such as secretary and co-chair in the Ohio-Kentucky Consortium of Physical Therapy Education.
