Dr. Erin Aldridge is a Professor of Violin and Director of Orchestras at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She maintains an active performance schedule as a soloist and chamber musician, with appearances across Europe, South America, and the United States. Erin also serves as Concertmaster of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and the Lyric Opera of the North Opera Orchestra, and is faculty at the Indiana University Summer String Academy.

Her research and performance interests focus on violin pedagogy, chamber music repertoire, and orchestral innovation. She has pioneered new programming approaches with the University of Wisconsin-Superior Chamber Orchestra, blending traditional and contemporary works. Erin’s recordings include Eugene Ysaÿe’s Six Sonatas for Solo Violin and collaborations with Sara Thomsen and The Three Altos.
