Erin Abramsohn

Erin Abramsohn, DrPH is an Adjunct Faculty member affiliated with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She serves as a policy adviser in the CDC Office of the Associate Director for Policy and Strategy (OADPS), where she supports initiatives like the CDC Health Impact in 5 Years (HI-5) and CDC 6|18 Initiative, and collaborates with stakeholders across public health, healthcare, and policy domains. Her work emphasizes evidence-based prevention, population health improvement, and healthcare cost control.

Prior to her CDC role, she worked on policy issues related to tobacco control, nutrition, and physical activity at the California Department of Public Health. Her expertise spans legislative management, program evaluation, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
