Erika McLean

Erika McLean is a full-time Professor and co-program director of Abilene Christian University's residential M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology program. She holds dual roles as an academic leader and clinician, operating Texas Swallow Diagnostics LLC, a mobile FEES program specializing in fiberoptic evaluation of swallowing disorders. Her work bridges clinical practice and education, emphasizing transformative patient care and mentoring future therapists.

Education: B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology (ACU, 2010), M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology (ACU, 2016). Professional certifications include CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence).

Research & Innovation: Pioneered rapid diagnostic methods using FEES technology in Abilene, reducing patient wait times. Focuses on advancing swallowing disorder evaluation and treatment protocols.
