Erika L Moen is an Associate Professor at the Geisel School of Medicine and the Dartmouth Institute for Biomedical Data Science. Her research focuses on leveraging network analysis and biostatistics to optimize cancer care delivery, particularly for rural populations.
- Education: Ph.D. and M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Chicago, B.A. from Brown University.
Dr. Moen develops novel network measures to improve equitable access to multidisciplinary cancer care. Her work is funded by the NIH, including R37CA263936 (PI) and P20GM104416 (Project Leader). She teaches PH147/QBS 139: Advanced Methods in Health Services Research.
Recent publications explore prescriber network dynamics, rural oncology challenges, cross-state cancer care travel, and network-based interventions for children with medical complexity. Her lab emphasizes addressing systemic barriers in healthcare coordination.
