معرفی
Todd A MacKenzie is a Professor at the Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth College, with joint appointments in the Departments of Biomedical Data Science, Medicine, and The Dartmouth Institute. His work focuses on applying statistical methodologies to clinical and health services research, with over 300 publications spanning comparative effectiveness studies, clinical trials, causal inference, and prediction modeling.
- Education: PhD in Statistics (McGill University, 1997), MSc in Statistics (McGill University, 1993), BSc (Dalhousie University, 1990)
MacKenzie's research emphasizes survival analysis and causal inference, particularly in evaluating the quality and effectiveness of colonoscopy for colorectal cancer screening. His work also extends to vascular surgery outcomes, aging studies, and telehealth applications in chronic disease management. Publications highlight methodological advancements in handling technical and biological heterogeneity in gene expression data.
Recent collaborative studies include comparative analyses of transcarotid vs. transfemoral stenting, obesity impacts on assisted living transitions, and cold snare endoscopic techniques for polyp removal. His expertise in statistical modeling informs clinical guidelines and policy decisions.
Teaching contributions include QBS 121: Biostatistics II, QBS 123: Biostatistics Consulting, and past courses targeting junior faculty and PhD students. He is affiliated with the Dartmouth Cancer Center, Quantitative Biomedical Sciences program, and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
