Erik Opsahl

Erik Opsahl is a Professor of Medieval History at NTNU's Department of Historical and Classical Studies and Head of the Center for Medieval Studies. He specializes in medieval Nordic history, focusing on aristocracy, state formation, and political culture. His research spans medieval military history, national identities, and the use of historical narratives.
