Prof. Erik Knorth is a Full Professor at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, specializing in child and youth care. He leads the Collaborative Centre on Care for Children and Youth (C4Youth) alongside Prof. Menno Reijneveld. His roles include editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Child and Family Welfare and advisor to organizations like EUSARF and C4Youth. Knorth holds a PhD from Leiden University (1987) and has over four decades of academic experience, transitioning from Leiden University to Groningen in 2004.
