Erik Eik Anda is a Professor of Global Health and Epidemiology in the Department of Community Medicine at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. His research focuses on perinatal epidemiology, registry research, global health, and environmental health, with a particular emphasis on Georgia and circumpolar regions.
Dr. Anda's research interests include:
- Perinatal epidemiology and maternal-child health outcomes

- Environmental toxins and their health impacts
- Maternal mortality and morbidity
His recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on using birth registries to investigate health outcomes in Georgia, particularly examining lead exposure, maternal complications, and the impacts of health policies.
