Erica French

Erica French is an Associate Professor at the School of Management, Faculty of Business & Law, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She has over 30 years of teaching and research experience in management and organization studies, focusing on equity/diversity, project management, and assurance of learning. Her work addresses challenges in gender equality, project-based careers, and diversity initiatives in industries like construction and engineering.

Education: PhD (QUT), MBus (QUT), BBus (QUT).

Research Interests: Her research spans equity and diversity management, project management leadership, and gender representation in male-dominated sectors. She leads initiatives like the 2021 Project Management Institute (PMI) grant exploring gender equality in construction/engineering organizations.

Awards: Recipient of the 2019 IPMA Research Prize for 'Exploring the Evolution of Project-Based Careers' and multiple best paper awards at international conferences (2017–2018).

Grants: Current PMI-funded research grant investigating work-life programs and gender representation in engineering/construction.
