Eric Wyrick serves as a Lecturer in Violin at Princeton University within the Performance Faculty. He concurrently holds the position of Concertmaster of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra since 1998 and serves as Artistic Director for the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.
His professional focus centers on violin performance across multiple domains: orchestral leadership as concertmaster, solo performances with major ensembles including Danish Radio Orchestra and Orchestre de Toulouse, and chamber collaborations with groups like NJSO Chamber Players and the family-based Wyrick Chamber Players. Notable appearances include PBS's "Dance in America" featuring Chausson's Poème and BBC's "Great Composers" series performing Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5.
Wyrick maintains strong institutional connections through regular lectures at Richardson Auditorium and collaborations with the Richardson Chamber Players. His performance career features collaborations with conductors Neeme Järvi, Jacques Lacombe, Zdeněk Mácal, Michel Plasson, Gunther Schuller, and Andrew Constantine across international venues and broadcast media.
