Eric Owen Moss

Eric Owen Moss is a Distinguished Professor at SCI-Arc, teaching design studio and history/theory courses. As founder of Eric Owen Moss Architects (1973), he has completed global projects documented in 22 monographs. Recognized with over 150 design awards including the AIA|LA Gold Medal and Jencks Award, his work has been featured in Time Magazine's World's Greatest Places (Vespertine, 2018) and received the AIA Twenty-five Year Award (2020).

His academic appointments include positions at Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Tsinghua University, with a directorship at SCI-Arc from 2002-2015. Research explores experimental spatial configurations and urban interventions.
