Eric Michael Bershad

Dr. Eric Michael Bershad is a Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine, specializing in Vascular Critical Care. He completed his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by residencies and fellowships at Henry Ford Health System, University Hospitals of Cleveland, and Baylor College of Medicine.

His research focuses on vascular neurology, neurocritical care, and intracranial hypertension. He has published extensively on topics including olfactory impairment in intracranial hypertension, intracranial pressure monitoring techniques, and predictors of nosocomial pneumonia in stroke patients.

Dr. Bershad is board-certified in Neurology, Vascular Neurology, and Neurocritical Care. He sees patients at the Baylor Neurology Clinic at the McNair Campus in Houston.
