Eric Knoll

Eric Knoll serves as an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication (ALEC) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He coordinates the Skilled and Technical Sciences Teaching Option, a unique 2+2 bachelor’s degree program preparing career and technical education teachers.

His educational background includes:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln
• Master's degree in Vocational Education from University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Knoll specializes in vocational education systems and teacher preparation for industrial technology fields. His work bridges community college credits with university coursework through the STS teaching program, focusing on practical skill development for future educators in skilled trades.

As program coordinator and advisor, he oversees the integration of 60 community college credits with 60 university credits required for the bachelor's degree. His prior 24-year teaching career at Lincoln High School and 7-year role as District Curriculum Specialist for Lincoln Public Schools' Skilled and Technical Sciences program inform his current academic leadership.
