Eric Goldman is a Professor of Law and Co-Director of the High Tech Law Institute at Santa Clara University School of Law. With a career spanning both legal practice and academia, Professor Goldman brings practical Silicon Valley experience to his academic work, having practiced Internet law for 8 years before transitioning to full-time academia in 2002.
Professor Goldman's research and teaching focuses on the intersection of law and technology, with particular expertise in Internet law, Intellectual Property law, and advertising law. His work addresses critical contemporary issues including social media regulation, content moderation, platform liability, trademark law, and the legal implications of emerging technologies.
