Eric Freudenthal

Dr. Eric Freudenthal is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), specializing in autonomic systems, computer security, and STEM education. His research explores robust resource management in delay-intolerant devices, energy-performance tradeoffs in high-performance computing, and vocal fundamental frequency accentuation (FFA) for speech disorders. He holds a Senior Member title from the National Academy of Inventors and has filed multiple utility patents on FFA-related technologies.

His educational contributions include developing curricula for parallel computing and integrating programming into high school algebra and physics.
