Eric Elert

Eric Elert is a Professor of Liberal Arts at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA, where he has taught since Fall 2022. Previously, he served as a Calculus instructor at the University of Arizona (2015-2021). His scholarly work focuses on computational methods in algebra, particularly Brauer tree algebras.

Elert has presented research at mathematics conferences including the AMS Fall Western Section Meeting and the Virtual Nikolaus Conference. He completed Ph.D. coursework at the University of Arizona and holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Wisconsin-Stout.
