Eric Ehret

Eric Ehret is a researcher at the University of Lyon 1, specializing in environmental chemistry and catalysis. His work focuses on sustainable chemistry, pollutant control, and energy transition through advanced methodologies such as in situ/operando microscopy and spectroscopy. He contributes to interdisciplinary projects like the IRCATECH characterization platform, integrating thermodynamic, analytical, and reaction approaches.

Research Interests: Catalysis (heterogeneous, biomass, liquid phase), pollutant recovery in air/water, molecular materials, and sustainable energy solutions. He employs cutting-edge techniques including ESEM/ETEM microscopy, microcalorimetry, and Raman/RMN spectroscopy to study reaction mechanisms and material characterization.
