Éric Dugas is a University Professor of Educational Sciences at the University of Bordeaux, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has held significant leadership roles, including heading the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Department (2015–2019) and serving as Research Director at the National Higher Institute of Teaching and Education (INSPE) in Bordeaux (2019–2021). He also serves as the university's Disability Officer and leads the CARRY-ON association, dedicated to the inclusion of students with chronic illnesses.
