Eric C Cimino

Eric C Cimino is an Associate Professor and Chair for History and Political Science at Molloy University. He specializes in United States History, with a focus on the Progressive Era, New York City history, and social reform movements. His research includes studies on the Titanic disaster, the 1918 Influenza Pandemic, and the Bauhaus School in Weimar Germany.

Education: Ph.D. in History from Stony Brook University (2012), M.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts (2003).

Research Interests: His work explores topics such as anti-trafficking activism via the Travelers' Aid movement, the social history of Bauhaus students, and the aftermath of the Titanic sinking. He has published four articles on Titanic-related themes and one doctoral thesis on the 1918 Influenza Pandemic's impact on New York City.

Membership: Active member of the American Historical Association, Society for Historians of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era, and New England Historical Association.
