Eric Buzzetti is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University, Montreal. He joined the university in 2000 as a full-time member, previously teaching at the Liberal Arts College for nearly two decades before transitioning to Political Science in 2019. His expertise centers on classical political philosophy, with a focus on figures like Plato, Xenophon, and Leo Strauss.

Research interests include classical political philosophy, justice/ethics, and the Enlightenment tradition. Recent work includes a book on Leo Strauss's interpretation of Xenophon and a residency as a Carl Friedrich von Siemens Scholar (2020). Teaching spans the full history of political philosophy from antiquity to postmodernism.
Current Projects: Writing a book on Strauss's recovery of Xenophon's political philosophy.
