Eric Allen is an associate chair at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, GA, since 2017, overseeing interactive design and game development as well as motion media design programs. He has previously served as a game development manager at Imagine Learning (2010-2017) and as an adjunct instructor at the University of Utah and Utah Valley University, while also working as a 3D lead, director/producer, and founding member in various digital media and educational technology roles.

Allen’s professional and academic interests span Game Development, Interactive Design, Motion Media Design, and 3D Modeling. Allen’s publications include books and magazine articles such as Mastering Maya (2009) and TSpline Modeling (2006), which reflect his expertise in Computer Science, Digital Art, and Game Development. These works have contributed to 3D modeling practices and educational resources in digital arts, with a focus on advanced techniques and software-specific applications.
