Joshua Carey

Joshua Carey is a Professor of Practice in Animation & Games at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTDallas), affiliated with the Harry W. Bass Jr. School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology. His expertise spans technical animation, particularly rigging and character pipelines. He holds a BS in Animation from AiFL (2003).

Research interests focus on advanced rigging techniques, 3D animation systems, and Maya software applications. His work has been recognized through awards like the Maya Master Award (2011) and a VES Animation Technical Nominee (2012).
