Erdem Demiroz is an Assistant Professor at Trakya University's School of Education, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. He holds a PhD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies. His academic roles include serving as Erasmus+ and Mevlana Program Coordinator, as well as Vice Provost for the Sürekli Eğitim Merkezi. Demiroz has held adjunct roles at UMKC and founded Aloha Academy Co. Inc. to develop learning technologies. His work focuses on instructional technology integration, flipped learning, and psychosocial factors in STEM education.

He has published widely on topics like flipped classrooms, digital storytelling, and educational game design.
