Erdem Aksoy is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Language Education at TED University's Faculty of Education. He serves as both a faculty member and Deputy Head of Department, teaching a wide range of courses related to English language teaching, curriculum development, and teacher education. His professional activities span classroom instruction, thesis supervision, and departmental leadership.
Dr. Aksoy's research interests center on English Language Teaching methodology, curriculum development, teacher education, educational assessment, materials development, and language testing. His scholarly work demonstrates consistent engagement with contemporary issues in language education and teacher training, particularly within Turkish educational contexts. He has conducted extensive research on speaking skills development, active learning approaches, and the implementation of educational policies in Turkey, with special focus on the 2023 Education Vision.
