معرفی
Era Jain is an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University, affiliated with the Syracuse BioInspired Institute. Her research focuses on engineering immunomodulatory biomaterials for treating musculoskeletal disorders and inflammation. She earned a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (2011) and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from India (2004).
Key areas of expertise include targeted drug delivery systems, injectable hydrogels, and musculoskeletal tissue engineering. Her lab develops macrophage-targeted therapies and programmable delivery systems to spatially and temporally control inflammation. Research employs in vitro and pre-clinical models to assess translational potential.
- Educations: Ph.D., Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (2011); B.Pharm, India (2004)
