Enxia Zhang is an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and a leading expert in semiconductor reliability and radiation effects. Her research focuses on advanced microelectronic devices and integrated circuits using silicon, compound semiconductors, and two-dimensional materials, with emphasis on photonic, radio frequency (RF), and MEMS/NEMS device performance under radiation and stress.

Research Interests:
Enxia investigates defect characterization and their impact on device reliability for space applications. Key projects include AFOSR-funded radiation effects in wide-bandgap semiconductors, NASA-supported SiC power devices for lunar exploration, and NSF/EPICA collaborations on photonic ICs for aerospace. Her work bridges materials science, radiation physics, and device engineering.
