Emmanuel Mawuena

Dr Emmanuel Mawuena is a Lecturer at the Social and Economic Research Institute, Sheffield Hallam University (joined 2022). He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management (University of Hull, 2020) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA, 2024). Recognized as an outstanding Early Career Researcher, he received the Sheffield Hallam Early Career Research and Innovation Fellowship (2023/24). His research focuses on Employee Voice and Silence, Patient Safety, and Healthcare Organizational Dynamics, with publications in top-tier journals like BMJ Quality & Safety and International Journal of Human Resource Management.

Recent studies examine surgical team interactions and resource constraints in Ghanaian healthcare systems.
