Emmanuel Alejandro Flores Johnson

Dr. Emmanuel Alejandro Flores Johnson is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), and a Senior Structural Modeller at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO). His research focuses on the performance of advanced structural materials under extreme conditions for applications in the nuclear industry and non-nuclear energy-generation systems using numerical modelling.

Dr. Flores Johnson has extensive expertise in developing finite element simulations of non-linear material behaviour, including plasticity, damage and fracture mechanics, impact, and shock behaviour.
