Emma Thompson Brewster

Emma Thompson Brewster is a Lecturer in the Department of Engineering at Southern Cross University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering. She holds a PhD from the University of Queensland (UQ) and a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (Hons I), also from UQ. Her expertise spans sustainable wastewater treatment, waste management of single-use absorbent hygiene products, and resource recovery systems. Prior to her academic roles, she worked as a graduate engineer for Queensland’s Department of Energy and Water Supply and completed postdoctoral research at UQ’s Sustainable Minerals Institute.
