Emma Tarpey

Dr. Emma Tarpey is an Associate Fellow in Forensic Psychology Practice at Manchester Metropolitan University's Faculty of Health and Education, serving as Department Education Lead for Psychology and Programme Leader for MSc Childhood Development and Wellbeing in Practice and MSc Psychological Wellbeing in Clinical Practice. She holds Chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Forensic Psychologist. Awarded a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology Practice in 2021, she is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).

Her research focuses on applied forensic psychology with emphasis on risk assessment and management frameworks within criminal justice contexts.
