Dr. Emma Seaber is a Lecturer in Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory at King's College London, affiliated with the Department of English and the Centre for the Humanities and Health. A first-generation academic, she completed her PhD in 2022 at King's, supported by a Wellcome Trust Medical Humanities scholarship, and joined the faculty in 2023. Her research focuses on anorexia nervosa's literary and cultural representations, gender studies, and medical humanities.
