Emma Samsioe is a Senior Lecturer at Lund University's Department of Service Studies, affiliated with the Centre for Trade Research. She specializes in consumer behavior, digitalization, and sustainability, focusing on consumer learning and competences. Current projects include sustainable fashion consumption research through the F/ACT Movement and the FORMAS-funded Sustainable Clothing Futures project exploring digital business models in fashion. Previously, she worked at RISE on energy consumer studies and holds a PhD in fast fashion consumption analysis (2017).

Active in Horizon Europe and FORMAS-funded projects, she collaborates internationally on topics like industrial waste prevention and consumer agency.
