Emma Holdsworth is the Associate Dean for Quality and Accreditation at Coventry University's College of Arts and Society, with prior roles as Associate Head for Quality and Student Experience in Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences. She holds a Doctorate from Coventry University (2015), an MSc in Forensic Psychology (2010), and a BSc in Psychology (2008). Her work focuses on offender rehabilitation, strengths-based approaches, and improving student experience through evidence-based practices.
Her research spans criminal justice processes, behavioral change programs, and sexual assault intervention. She collaborates with Probation Trusts and charities to design therapeutic programs for offenders and trains facilitators in these interventions. She is a Chartered Psychologist (BPS) and certified Coach/Mentor (Institute of Leadership and Management).
Key contributions include systematic reviews on Integrated Offender Management and developing psychoeducational models for intimate partner violence. She actively peer-reviews journals in criminology, mental health, and psychology.
