Dr. Emma Head is a Lecturer in Sociology at Keele University's School of Social Sciences, where she served as Acting Undergraduate Programme Director (January-July 2019). Her research focuses on the sociology of the family, motherhood, care, paid/unpaid work, poverty, and social exclusion. She holds a PhD from the University of Bristol (2005) and previously held an ESRC postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Leeds.
