Emma Evans is a Lecturer in Performing Arts at the London College of Music, University of West London. She holds a PgCert in Academic Practice (INSTIL) and a Foundation Certificate in Deaf Studies, alongside a Level 2 Certificate in Sign Language.
Research Interests: Emma's work focuses on intergenerational dance and choreography, with a strong emphasis on integrating Deaf Studies and sign language into performing arts. She co-founded SpiralArts, an intergenerational dance company, and contributed to the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad through the Big Dance Project.
Notable Achievements: Awarded the Dancing Times Award for choreography during her training at Elmhurst Ballet School. She has performed in major musicals and operas, including Half a Sixpence, Aida, and Medea, and choreographed productions like A Christmas Carol and Anastasia the Musical.

Teaching & Volunteering: Emma teaches at the London Academy of Performing Arts, ALRA, and Central School of Speech and Drama. She has volunteered for Definitely Theatre and the National Deaf Children's Society since 2008.
