Bryony Williams

Bryony Williams is a Vocal Studies Professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she teaches movement to singing and music therapy students. She also has experience at the Royal Academy of Music and the University of West London. Her expertise spans diverse movement practices, including European Expressive Dance, Ki Martial Arts, and various dance styles like tango and ballet.

Trained in expressive dance with Ernest Berk and Ki Martial Arts with Ken Waight, she became an Instructor in Seishin Kitaido by 1992. Her holistic approach integrates Eastern and Western practices, aiming to make movement accessible across abilities. She has choreographed works such as Pride and Prejudice and Sweet Charity at Questors Theatre Ealing.

Williams co-founded SpiralArts, an intergenerational arts company, and has taught internationally in France, Belgium, Italy, and Israel. Her career emphasizes creative, flexible methodologies in movement education and performance.
