Emma Dunlop is a Lecturer at the UNSW Faculty of Law and Justice, with a PhD in International Law from University of New South Wales. She is affiliated with the Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law.

Her research focuses on asylum seekers, refugees, and access to justice in international and domestic legal systems. She authored the book Access to Courts for Asylum Seekers and Refugees (Oxford University Press, 2024), which explores legal frameworks for refugee rights and migration law.

Emma previously worked at the Directorate for Legal Affairs of the OECD, the International Criminal Court’s Presidency Legal and Enforcement Unit, and completed a traineeship at the International Court of Justice. Her practice areas as a barrister at Omnia Chambers include administrative law, climate change law, and commercial law.
