Emma Di Marco

Dr Emma Di Marco is a Casual Academic (Instrument Teacher - Saxophone) at the School of Music, University of Queensland. She holds a PhD in Musicology and is a passionate advocate for Australian music and women in music. As a D'Addario Woodwinds Endorsed Artist and Churchill Fellow, she has performed internationally including at World Saxophone Congresses and Australian festivals. Her research integrates educational neuroscience into teaching practices.

Her work focuses on improving woodwind pedagogy and supporting music education programs. She founded the startup Emma & Vincent, produces the Sax Bites podcast, and has released recordings including the EP Charisma and albums with the Barega Saxophone Quartet.
