Emma Chaffey is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Human Sciences at The University of Western Australia. She joined the UWA teaching team for the Masters of Clinical Audiology in 2021, focusing on audiological rehabilitation, service delivery, and paediatric audiology. Her research, supported by the Ear Science Institute Australia, aims to improve outcomes for cochlear implant users. Emma holds a Master of Clinical Audiology (2015) and a Bachelor of Science (Anatomy & Human Biology; Hons) from UWA (2013).
Her research interests center on optimizing hearing healthcare services, particularly through patient-centered approaches. Her work combines clinical practice insights with innovative methodologies like discrete choice experiments to enhance service delivery models.
